The DirecTV SHEF Q-SYS Driver enables control of DirecTV satellite set-top boxes
(STBs) from a QSC Q-SYS audio/video/control ecosystem. It communicates over your
local network using DirecTV’s SHEF protocol (Set-top box HTTP Exported
Functionality), which provides HTTP-based access to channel tuning, remote control
keys, status information, and more. RS-232 serial control is also supported (Beta).
This plugin is designed for professional AV integrators deploying Q-SYS-based control

worship, and other venues where centralized DirecTV control is needed.
