The Acuity nLight Q-SYS Driver enables control and monitoring of Acuity Brands nLight lighting systems from a QSC Q-SYS audio/video/control ecosystem. It communicates over your local network with a Distech Controls ECLYPSE (nECY) gateway using the ECLYPSE REST API, which bridges the nLight system onto BACnet objects and exposes them over HTTP/HTTPS.
This plugin is designed for professional AV integrators deploying Q-SYS-based control systems in conference rooms, boardrooms, houses of worship, hospitality environments, and other venues where centralized lighting control — zones, scenes, and occupancy — must be unified with audio and video.
Important Note: This driver is currently in beta and has been tested against emulators only; we welcome your feedback from live device deployments and are committed to refining functionality based on real-world testing and user input. Please share your experiences at support@achkayem-solutions.com.

Features
The Acuity nLight Lighting driver provides bidirectional control and monitoring of Acuity Brands nLight lighting systems through a Distech Controls ECLYPSE (nECY) gateway's REST API.
Zone Control
- Individual Zone Levels: Set precise dim levels (0–100%) for each nLight channel/zone.
- On / Off / Toggle: Quick switching per zone for both dimming and switching channels.
- Raise / Lower: Step a zone up or down in fixed increments.
- Master (All Zones): All On, All Off, Raise All, Lower All, and Set-All-to-Level.
Scene (Profile) Management
- Scene Recall: Activate any discovered nLight profile with a single trigger.
- Active Scene Indicator: LED feedback showing the currently active profile.
Occupancy Monitoring
- Occupancy Status: Real-time occupied/vacant indicators for each nLight occupancy sensor.
System Status
- Controller Info: ECLYPSE model and nLight API revision.
- Device Inventory: Count and summary of connected nLight devices, with online count.
- Connection Monitoring: Visual status indicator with error message feedback.
Discovery & Configuration
- Auto-Discovery: Automatically discover channels (zones), profiles (scenes), devices, and occupancy sensors, and resolve each control point's backing BACnet object.
- On-Demand Refresh: Re-run discovery or a status refresh at any time.
- Configurable Counts: Support up to 32 zones, 32 scenes, and 16 occupancy sensors.
Deployment & Reliability
- HTTP Basic Authentication: Secure username/password auth against the ECLYPSE REST API.
- HTTP / HTTPS: Configurable protocol for secure or local deployments.
- Poll-Based Sync: Configurable polling interval (2–120s) keeps all status current.
- Fader Protection: User-adjusted level faders are shielded from being overwritten by polling for a short window.
