Overview
The WaveLinx CORE Lighting Q-SYS Driver enables control and monitoring of Eaton (Cooper Lighting Solutions) WaveLinx CORE lighting systems from a QSC Q-SYS audio/video/control ecosystem. It communicates over your local network using the WaveLinx CORE REST API (Release 12), which exposes HTTP/HTTPS JSON endpoints for zone level control, scene selection, occupancy management, alarm and energy monitoring, and system discovery.
This driver is currently in beta and has been tested against emulators only; we welcome your feedback from live device deployments and are committed to refining functionality based on real-world testing and user input. Please share your experiences at support@achkayem-solutions.com.

The WaveLinx CORE Lighting driver provides bidirectional control and monitoring of Eaton WaveLinx CORE lighting systems via the WaveLinx CORE REST API (Release 12).
Zone Control
- Individual Zone Levels: Set precise light levels (0–100%) for each zone.
- Raise / Lower / Toggle: Quick actions per zone for common lighting adjustments.
- Area Raise / Lower All: Adjust all zones in the area simultaneously.
- Building & Floor Level: Set levels across an entire building or floor.
Scene Management
- Scene Selection: Activate any discovered scene with a single trigger.
- Active Scene Indicator: LED feedback showing the currently active scene.
Occupancy Control
- Occupancy Status: Real-time occupied/vacant indicators for each occupancy set.
- Hold / Release: Override occupancy sensors with a 1-hour hold or release.
Alarm & Energy Monitoring
- Alarm Count & Summary: Live alarm status with one-click acknowledge all.
- Energy Monitoring: 24-hour energy usage for lighting, receptacle, and total.
- Network Inventory: Count and summary of connected WaveLinx networks.
- Device Inventory: Count and summary of connected WaveLinx devices.
Demand Response
- Demand Response Level: Send demand response levels (0–4) to the WaveLinx system.
Discovery & Configuration
- Auto-Discovery: Automatically discover buildings, floors, areas, zones, scenes, and occupancy sets.
- Manual Override: Optionally specify building and area IDs directly via properties.
- Configurable Counts: Support up to 16 zones, 16 scenes, and 8 occupancy sets.
Deployment & Reliability
- OAuth Authentication: Secure token-based auth with automatic refresh every 25 minutes.
- HTTP / HTTPS: Configurable protocol for secure or local deployments.
- Poll-Based Sync: Configurable polling interval (5–120s) keeps all status current.
- Connection Monitoring: Visual status indicator with error message feedback.
